Leon Koch
PhD Student

Leon Koch is currently working as a PhD Student on multi-qubit superconducting qubit platforms. He started his PhD in July 2020. Before he worked in the group of Dieter Kölle and Reinhold Kleiner at the University of Tübingen. During his Master studies, he worked on the positioning of magnetic nanoparticles at superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs).

Malay Singh
PhD Student

Malay is working as a PhD student on multi-qubit superconducting qubit platforms starting October 2020. Previously he was a Master student at TU Delft, where he completed his masters thesis on "Error mitigation for variational quantum eigensolvers" at the laboratory of Prof. Leonardo Di Carlo in July 2018. He completed his Bachelor's studies from BITS, Pilani and he conducted his Bachelor's thesis on "Weak measurements of superconducting qubits" at the laboratory of Prof. R.Vijay at TIFR, Mumbai, in May 2016. He worked as a Design Engineer in the semiconductor metrology division at ASML B.V. in the Netherlands from July 2018 to March 2019.

Ivan Tsitsilin
PhD Student

Ivan is working as a PhD student on superconducting multi-qubit platforms starting October 2020. Previously he was a Master’s student at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT). He completed his masters thesis on the development of two-qubit gates and superconducting multi-qubit systems based on transmon qubits at the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Alexey Ustinov at MISIS.

Niklas Glaser
Masterstudent

Niklas Glaser is currently working as a Master’s Student on pulse optimizations of superconducting qubit gates. He started his Master thesis in October 2020, within his studies of condensed matter physics at the Technical University of Munich. In his Bachelor studies he worked on improving spin properties of shallow NV centers.

Gerhard Huber
Masterstudent

Gerhard Huber is currently working as a Master's Student on multi-qubit superconducting qubit gates. Before starting his Master thesis in fall 2020 he studied condensed matter physics at the Technical University of Munich with focus on superconductivity.

Leonhard Hölscher

Since October 2020, Leonhard Hoelscher is working as a Master’s Student on the characterization and fabrication of high-coherence superconducting microwave circuits. He studies condensed matter physics at the Technical University of Munich, and his bachelor’s thesis dealt with the propagation of spin waves in ferromagnets.
