  • PhD Student: Quantum Computing and Information Processing

 

Malay is working as a PhD student on multi-qubit superconducting qubit platforms starting November 2020 in the group of Prof. Stefan Filipp. Previously he was a Master student at TU Delft, where he completed his masters thesis on the topic of error mitigation for variational quantum eigensolvers at the laboratory of Prof. Leonardo Di Carlo in July 2018. He completed his Bachelor's studies from BITS, Pilani and he conducted his Bachelor's thesis on weak measurements of superconducting qubits at the laboratory of Prof. R.Vijay at TIFR, Mumbai, in May 2016. He worked as a Design Engineer in the semiconductor metrology division at ASML B.V. in the Netherlands from July 2018 to March 2020.
