Dr. Amilcar Bedoya Pinto

 

Amilcar completed his graduate studies in physics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). In 2005/2006, he carried out his diploma thesis with us in the WMI on the growth and characterization of ZnO-based magnetic semiconductors.

He is now a Distinguished Researcher of the Generació Talent (Gen-T) program at the Institute of Molecular Science (ICMol) at the University of Valencia (Spain). There, he leads a research group focusing on molecular beam epitaxy of 2D ferroic and topological material heterostructures.
