Prof. Dr. Dietrich Einzel was a member of the Andres and Gross group at WMI between 1983 and 2015. Since 2008, he has been a private lecturer, and in 2014, he was appointed Adjunct Professor for Theoretical Physics at the Technical University of Munich. His research focus was on theoretical aspects of superconductivity and superfluidity. 

Dietrich Einzel retired in October 2015.
