We are a theory group working on the modeling of quantum information processing and quantum simulation schemes in solid-state and hybrid quantum systems and we are always looking for highly motivated master and bachelor students with an interest in theoretical and numerical physics. We offer master and bachelor projects in the areas of

-) Quantum simulation schemes with interacting photons
-) Quantum communication protocols in hybrid quantum systems
-) Numerical modelling of open many-body quantum systems

Specific topics depend on current research projects in the group and can be discussed in a personal meeting.
