Michael Lambacher was member of the Gross group at WMI as a Ph.D. student between 2004 and 2009.

Ph.D. Thesis: Crystal Growth and Normal State Transport of Electron Doped High Temperature Superconductors  (2008)

In his Ph.D. thesis, Michael Lambacher was growing high-quality single crystals of the electron doped high-temperature superconductors by using an image furnace. After finishing his Ph.D. thesis, he left WMI to become a Patent Attorney. Presently, he is partner with EUROMARKPAT (v. Füner Ebbinghaus Finck Hano).
