Ph.D. Thesis: Onset of Transmon Ionization in Microwave Single-Photon Detection (submitted July 2024)
Yuki was working on the realization and characterization of strongly driven circuit QED systems consisting of transmon qubits coupled to different modes of 3D microwave cavities. Such systems can be used as highly sensitive detectors, being able to detect single microwave photons with high efficiency. In particular, he studied in detail the onset of transmon ionization occuring in such systems.
After finishing his Ph.D. thesis, he joined Alice & Bob at Paris as a superconducting quantum design engineer.
